Important Waitlist Information
Waitlists for the Summer 2008 Terms & Fall 2008 Semester will be deleted at noon on the dates below:
- Summer 2008 EXL Term: Friday, May 30
- June 2008 Term: Friday, May 30
- July 2008 Term: Friday, June 27
- August 2008 Term: Friday, July 25
- Fall 2008 Semester: Friday, September 5
The Registrar's Office receives waitlist update information each day so that we may monitor the waitlist/registration changes. We hope this message answers any questions you may have about this process.
If you have been automatically added to a class from the waitlist, you will know in the following ways:
- When looking at your registration online, the class will no longer say "waitlisted".
- You will receive an e-mail notification from the Registrar's Office (example: NT520 has been added as a registered course, NT520 wait list course has been dropped). This will inform you that you have been officially added to a class from the waitlist.
Note: Sometimes the computer cannot automatically add you to a class either because that class would conflict with another class, or because adding you would put you over your maximum allowed hours. Our office also receives notification when this happens, and you will receive an e-mail to this effect. When you receive notices such as this, we need you to take action as soon as possible so as not to hold up the waitlist process for other students on the waitlist for that class.
