Loan Deferment
- Processed after drop/add period ends; only current term or past terms can be verified.
- Asbury Theological Seminary regularly transmits enrollment information to the National Student Clearinghouse. If your lender uses the Clearinghouse to verify enrollments, you will usually not need us to send in a paper deferment form. Your lender can tell you if they participate with the Clearinghouse and whether or not they will require a paper form.
- If you determine that you need a deferment form sent to your lender from the Registrar’s Office, please do the following:
- Secure the form from your lender (most major companies have websites where you can download a form).
- Fill out your portion of the form, making sure you have signed it.
- Return the deferment form with a stamped envelope to the Office of the Registrar (Kentucky Campus):
- a. In person
- b. Through the Seminary Post Office (SPO) Box 948
- c. Or by mail to Asbury Theological Seminary, Office of the Registrar, 204 North Lexington Avenue, Wilmore, KY 40390.
- d. Please allow 5 to 7 days processing time.
