Q3 Conference

Q3 Conference

We invite you to join us at our Q3 conferences being held during the second week of March in 2010, 2011 and 2012.  The 2010 conference was fascinating as we focused on "Exploring the Wonder of God's World."  The next Q3 Conference, March 8-10, 2011, focuses on “Being Human: Created in God’s Image,” and we will dig into faith and anthropology and explore being human. There will be presentations, break out sessions and workshops.  You will have the opportunity to engage with pastors, theologians, philosophers and scientists.  There will be times for worship, fellowship, conversation and practical suggestions and resources for preaching, teaching, worship and pastoral care.  Most of all, it is important to emphasize that all of this has been designed for you, our alumni and friends, so that you will be better equipped to bear witness to the ancient faith which you hold; understanding and addressing the Big Questions presented by our contemporary world in the ministry of the Gospel.

Yours in Christ,

JOHN TEMPLETON FOUNDATION MISSION STATEMENT

The John Templeton Foundation serves as a philanthropic catalyst for discoveries relating to the Big Questions of human purpose and ultimate reality. We support research on subjects ranging from complexity, evolution, and infinity to creativity, forgiveness, love, and free will. We encourage civil, informed dialogue among scientists, philosophers, and theologians and between such experts and the public at large, for the purposes of definitional clarity and new insights.

Our vision is derived from the late Sir John Templeton's optimism about the possibility of acquiring “new spiritual information” and from his commitment to rigorous scientific research and related scholarship. The Foundation's motto, "How little we know, how eager to learn," exemplifies our support for open-minded inquiry and our hope for advancing human progress through breakthrough discoveries.
