Asbury Theological Seminary

Florida Campus

In one of the top tourist destinations, worlds collide. Cultures mix. And diversity is a fact of life. All of which makes Orlando, Florida, the perfect setting for training and engaging tomorrow’s church leaders. Located just 15 minutes from the airport and downtown Orlando, Asbury Seminary’s Florida campus has the most strategic location imaginable.

And for this fast-changing culture, we offer a forward-thinking curriculum. Keeping in mind the student who is already engaged in ministry and wanting to remain in ministry while completing their seminary education, Asbury offers blocked course scheduling, allowing students to come to campus fewer times a week.

Asbury’s Florida campus also offers potential pastors and church leaders an opportunity to study with faculty who are as diverse as the community surrounding the campus. Asbury’s Florida faculty come from a range of backgrounds, many of them fluent in Spanish. This makes the Florida campus a culturally relevant one for the growing Latino community in Orlando. The Latino-Latina Studies Program offers innovative theological education to clergy and lay Hispanic leaders to help strengthen their ministry skills and deepen their walk with God.

The Florida campus also expresses its diversity in an increasingly large number of women, African-American students, and a growing denominational and parachurch representation. Campus worship services and classroom experiences reflect the richness of the community.

And keeping with Asbury’s commitment to offer a high-quality education with superior high-tech capabilities, Asbury’s Florida campus is no exception. With video links to the Seminary’s main campus, students and faculty in Florida remain connected with their colleagues in Kentucky. Asbury's Florida campus is a commuter-based campus, complete with excess parking, a nice study lounge and other helpful ammenities.
