Dr. Leslie A. Andrews is Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost at Asbury Theological Seminary. She also serves as professor of Leadership and Pastoral Research.

She received a B.A. from Nyack College; a M.C.E. and M.Div. equivalency from Columbia Theological Seminary; a D.Min. from Columbia Theological Seminary; and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University.

For 15 years, Dr. Andrews directed an inter-mission organization for research into care of missionaries and their children. She was twice elected to the Board of Directors of The Christian and Missionary Alliance and has traveled worldwide in research, training and consultation with missionaries and national churches. Dr. Andrews has served on numerous denominational committees and boards and has spent 14 years in church educational and pastoral ministry.

She was named Alumnus of the Year for Service to Education (Nyack College). She was also the recipient of the Fannie Jordan Bryan Fellowship awarded by the faculty of Columbia Theological Seminary  for superior intellectual achievement demonstrated during the course of the regular seminary program. Dr. Andrews has published a host of articles ranging from topics such as the role of women in ministry to missionary issues.
