Asbury Seminary is partnering with Asbury College to develop the Asbury House of Prayer, a twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week initiative for the entire Asbury community and beyond.
We discovered a couple of years back that students at both Asbury College and Asbury Seminary were attempting to organize themselves in response to a sense of divine calling to engage in unceasing prayer. These students found each other and joined efforts in this work in the fall of 2006. In February 2007, we moved into the new home of AHOP. The AHOP is located on the ground floor of Larabee-Morris Residence Hall on Asbury's Kentucky campus -- a quite symbolic and strategic place. Larabee-Morris Hall is the building in which the seminary first opened its doors. The room itself is also the site of the first classroom of the seminary.
