Printer-friendly version

Dr. Michael Pasquarello III, Fisher Professor of Preaching and Director of Q3, Asbury Seminary's Faith and Science program, recently participated in a consultation on theological education and science sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, DC.  This invitation was extended to Asbury Seminary for being one of seven institutions that have received generous grants from the John Templeton Foundation to be part of its "Science for Ministry" initiative.  This initiative is the first by Templeton that is oriented toward pastors, Christian leaders, and lay persons who work and teach in the various fields of science.  Its goal is to bring the Christian faith and the knowledge of science into a fruitful conversation that benefits the faith and mission of the church.

More information on Q3, especially the three faith and science conferences being held on the Asbury campus in March, 2010, 2011 and 2012, can be found on the Seminary website under Lifelong Learners Upcoming Conferences.
