Asbury Seminary staff member Jared Porter receives Wabash Center Grant

Jared Porter, Faculty Associate, was selected as one among 14 librarians from theological schools in the United States and Canada to participate in a colloquy sponsored by the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning on The Role of Theological School Librarians in April 2010. The colloquy explored "the vocation of theological librarianship and promote the development of strategies and skills for increasing the effectiveness of librarians in the teaching/learning/research process in their own institutional and professional contexts."
