Webcasts

What is a webcast?

A webcast is simply a short-term conference with high-quality speakers that takes place over the Internet. It originates from a host site and is made available to participants attending via their personal computers.

Why is AsburySeminary hosting webcasts?

Asbury Seminary's Center for Lifelong Learning recognizes that professionals continually face time constraints caused by ongoing ministry demands. This, in turn, causes them to miss out on continuing education opportunities. We are providing webcasts as a convenient blend of economic value and up-to-date education on a wide variety of topics specifically related to the Church and the workplace.

I don’t have a lot of time to sit in front of my computer.  Does that matter?

The great thing about webcasts is that you only need 60-90 minutes to participate.

What is the cost to attend your webcasts?

All webcasts broadcast from Asbury Seminary’s Center for Lifelong Learning are free; however, registration is required.

Is there any follow-up to your webcasts?

The webcasts are preludes to an on-site event, typically in Wilmore, KY or Orlando, FL. Although we encourage you to attend, the on-site events are optional. At the end of every broadcast you will hear information about the date and location of the on-campus conference. We also encourage you to stay in touch with our website for the Center for Lifelong Learning to read about all the lifelong learning offerings hosted by Asbury Seminary.
