Lifelong Learning
Welcome to the Beeson Center for Lifelong Learning! The common adage says “leaders are learners.” As Christian leaders, we carry a particular trust. God invites us to ongoing growth as faithful stewards of grace. We understand the complexities of ministry and the daunting expectations of serving others, whether in a local church, in a parachurch context or in the marketplace. We also know the potency of learning communities. We have experienced the transformational power of engaging vital questions with colleagues who share God’s calling. Lifelong learning translates into knowing and being known as brothers and sisters on the same quest.
Asbury Seminary’s Center for Lifelong Learning, an outreach of the Beeson International Center for Biblical Preaching and Church Leadership, exists to host learning communities. In these pages you will find seminars focused on the practice of ministry. We will provide on site and online opportunities for connecting with peers embodying comparable passion for effective service in Christ and the Church. Asbury Seminary's Center for Lifelong Learning covenants with you to bring the best of the Seminary to your daily realities. We also commit to networking you with pastors and leaders with whom you can deepen your formation in the Spirit. Our mission is to be “a community called” to learning in the Kingdom of God.
