Amenities

Computer Lab
The computer lab is located on the second floor of the B.L. Fisher Library on the Asbury Kentucky campus. The lab contains 53 Windows computers and 4 Macintosh computers which are available for student use. In addition, there is one Windows computer with a scanner. We offer a variety of programs and ways to learn them including manuals, tutorials and workshops.

Administrative Computing
The CARS Administrative Computing System provides Asbury Seminary with an integrated system which includes management of Financial, Human Resource, Student and Instutional Advancement information. The ability to customize the software allows us to meet the unique needs of each office.

Video Studio
This studio is designed for instructional video production on the Asbury Kentucky campus. This studio also serves as an audio studio.

Wiring Infrastructure
The Asbury Kentucky campus has been cabled with copper wiring and fiber-optic cable to run the telephones, local area network, and Video Information Systems. The cable comes to one central point for easy access. If you took the copper wire apart that runs between the buildings, and laid it out as a single strand, it would be over 300 miles long. Our fiber, if treated the same, would be over 65 miles long. Most of the buildings have been wired with phone and data jacks, with faculty offices and classrooms wired with phone, data and fiber-optic jacks.

Student Edit Bay
In order to give our students the opportunity to learn the basics of video production, a student edit bay is provided on the Asbury Kentucky campus. Final Cut Pro is the current video editing software that we use. Access to this area is limited to those students enrolled in our media class or a media independent study. Students with broadcasting experience can also be given permission to use this facility.

Computer Instruction Center
This lab is designed for computer training for faculty, students and staff on the Asbury Kentucky campus. In addition, it can be used for teaching computer components of various courses.
