Who can live on campus?
Single students are allowed to occupy residence hall rooms during the period of their full-time enrollment at Asbury Seminary.

What if I have visitors?
Only persons assigned to a residence hall room are entitled to reside in the residence halls. Short term visits by relatives and friends are allowed. Overnight visitors (of the same gender) must register with the Resident Assistant and are entitled to stay three nights without charge.

Can I bring a microwave?
Cooking appliances (including microwaves) are not permitted in individual rooms. Kitchens are available with microwaves for use by residents.

Where can I do my laundry?
Laundry facilities are located in the lower level for students’ use and contain coin-operated washers and dryers.

Can I get extra storage?
Storage areas or storage cases are available.

Is phone service available?
Rooms are equipped with a phone jack. Hookup/service are the students’ responsibility.

What about cable and internet?
Cable television/DVD players are available in the main lounges of each residence hall. Cable hookup is not permitted in individual rooms. The residence halls are equipped with wireless connections to the campus network and the internet.

Do I have to purchase a meal plan?
All full-time, commuter, and January Mini-Term residents are required to purchase a meal plan for use in the seminary’s dining hall.

What will my address be?
The mailing address for on-campus residents is 204 N. Lexington Ave., Wilmore, KY 40390 and must include the student’s name and SPO (student post office) number.

Are there Resident Assistants?
Resident Assistants live on every floor.
