Virtual Campus Media Request Form

Copyright Notice

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproductions is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copy law.

All requests are subject to review from the Copyright Management Center (CMC). After review, the Faculty Info Commons will update you regarding the status of your request. If there are copyright concerns, we will contact you with alternative solutions.

If the media is not requested 3 months prior to the beginning of the semester for which it is needed, we can not guarantee this media will be sent to your students in a timely manner. All media that is requested by this date and approved by the CMC will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.
