Summer/January Federal Aid Disbursements for 2008-2009

Federal Aid Disbursement Policies

For Financial Aid purposes only, June, July and August will be considered as one semester.
For Financial Aid purposes only, full time for the summer term (June through August) will be 9+ hours, half time would be 5-8 hours, and less than half time would be 4 or less hours. This determines the student's eligibility to receive loans in the summer term.
There will be only one Stafford and one Perkins disbursement for the summer term which will occur during the month of July.
There will no longer be a Perkins disbursement in January but rather those students whose budgets include the January term will receive their January Perkins disbursement as part of their Spring term Perkins disbursement.
