Applying for Financial Aid

To be considered for financial aid from Asbury Theological Seminary applicants must file the Asbury Theological Seminary Financial Aid Application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Consideration for financial aid is contingent upon a student:

The Asbury Theological Seminary Financial Aid Application is used by the student to request specific sources of financial aid and by the financial aid office to determine need. Early application is advised. If you are interested in any scholarship, please have your application in by the appropriate scholarship deadlines as outlined in our Financial Aid Packet.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine eligibility for federal financial aid (Stafford Loans, Perkins Loans, GradPlus Loans, and Work Study). The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be completed on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Financial need is determined by subtracting the amount the student can afford to contribute towards his or her education (Expected Family Contribution), as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), from the cost of attending Asbury Theological Seminary.

Financial aid awards for the upcoming Financial Aid Year are initially sent out on April 1. As new awards are completed and/or updated, they will be sent out to students on a daily basis.
