Welcome to the Financial Aid section of the Asbury Seminary website!
If you are an applicant or newly admitted student, our goal is to provide you with the essential financial information you will need to prepare to come to Asbury Seminary. In addition, Asbury is dedicated to aiding current students in completing their seminary education. This is why our Financial Aid Office will make every effort to help students identify sources of financial assistance. Most students will find they need multiple sources of income to finance their education: personal savings, scholarships/grants, church/conference funds, civic groups, foundations, federal student loans, and part-time employment. Working with the students, we endeavor to make their seminary education attainable.
Each student should formulate a tentative plan for financing his/her seminary education. Although the exact plan may not be assured at the beginning, the student should have a clear understanding of the expenses involved and the available sources of income for the first year, and a reasonable plan for financing subsequent years.
