Mr. Tippey is the Director of Library Services of B.L. Fisher Library: Instructional Services and Academic Technology at the Asbury Theological Seminary.  His responsibilities include all aspects of library services, such as strategic planning, collections development, budget development, policy development, and public relations. Mr. Tippey supervises four areas: technical services, faculty instructional commons, information commons, and archives and serves on the Technology Advisory Counsel, Curriculum Committee, Executive Committee: Wesleyan Studies Summer Seminar (WSSS), and Admissions Committee of Asbury Theological Seminary. He has over twelve years of experience in theological libraries and seminary education.

Mr. Tippey serves as the vice chair of the Teaching and Learning Steering Committee of the American Theological Library Association and is a member of the Methodist Denominational Group. He also serves as a member of the Technology in Theological Education Group Steering Committee of the Association of Theological Schools and is co-chair of the Faculty Professional Development Group.

Mr. Tippey and his wife, Dawn, have five wonderful children.
