Moodle (the new virtual campus environment) Tutorials
The titled files below are in a portable document format (.pdf). At minimum, Adobe Reader is needed (available free at Adobe ) to access them. Each "Demo" link is a shockwave file that will run video & audio in your web browser provided you have an appropriate plug-in, such as Adobe Flash Player (available free at Adobe ). If you have difficulty viewing any of these tutorials, please contact the Faculty Information Commons.
Posting Content
- Compose a text or web page - Demo
The difference between a text page and a web page in Moodle concerns the full text formatting capabilities: a text page has only pure text, no formatting, while the full text in a web page may be formatted at will, as well as allowing other features, like images, to be added. - Link to a File or Web Page & Display a Directory
'Link to a File' is used to post files singly; 'Display a Directory' gives access to multiple files at one time.
