Dr. Thomas N. Buchan III is an associate professor of Theology
He received a B.A. in Biblical Studies at Wheaton College, 1994; a M.A. in Theological Studies at Wheaton College Graduate School, 1995; a M.Phil. in Theological and Religious Studies at Drew University, 1999; and a Ph.D. in Theological and Religious Studies at Drew University, 2003.
Dr. Buchan has worked as an adjunct instructor in New Testament and Systematic Theology in the Eastern School of Christian Ministry of Palmer Theological Seminary (formerly Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary) and as an adjunct professor of Church History at Drew Theological School. He also worked as an editor with Gorgias Press and as the assistant to the director of Beth Mardutho: The Syriac Institute, a non-profit organization serving scholars in Syriac studies and communities in the Syriac tradition.
Dr. Buchan is a priest of The Episcopal Church (TEC). He serves as an associate at Church of the Incarnation, Oviedo, Florida.
Dr. Buchan and his wife, Shelly, have two children.
