Dr. Lawson G. Stone is professor of Old Testament. He has taught at Asbury Theological Seminary since 1987.
He received a B.A. from Asbury College, 1977; a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary, 1982; and a Ph.D. from Yale University, 1988.
Dr. Stone is a recipient of the John Wesley Fellowship and conducts ministries in camps, conferences and churches throughout the region. He has written a host of books and articles, including Biblica: The Bible Atlas, A Social and Historical Journey Through the Lands of the Bible (Global Book Publishing, 2006).
He and his wife, Angie Coleman Stone, have three children.
