Student Conference

The student conference cabinet is a group of students, elected by their peers, who have stepped forward to serve because they feel passionate about making sure that the students of Asbury Theological Seminary - Florida have the best possible experience while here. We are aware that our students have families, jobs, and staff positions or volunteer responsibilities with their churches that must be given time in addition to your seminary work. With this in mind, we are eager to find ways for our student body to travel the road through their seminary experience together. We work to create fun opportunities for community, provide tutoring assistance to students who need it, integrate new students into the life of the community, support our faculty and staff and express our appreciation to them for their hard work on our behalf, and advocate with faculty and administration to see that the unique needs of our students are addressed as best we can.

The Student Conference has accomplished many things on the Florida Campus, including the development of the Florida Pastoral Care Network and the establishment in 2007 of the Distinguished Preacher Series. Additionally, they serve the needs of our students by providing a coffee service in the student lounge and organizing social events for the Asbury community.

All students are invited to participate fully in the life of Asbury Florida through Student Conference events and leadership.
