Creation Care Community Garden

Printer-friendly version

The Creation Care Community of Asbury Seminary encourages students, faculty and staff in lifestyles that care for God’s creation.  Together we are reclaiming God’s call and learning how to better steward God’s gift through opportunities such as a community garden. The garden was made to encourage people to practice sustainability as part of a larger community that fosters care for God’s creation together.

The garden is available for all of those interested in being a part of the Creation Care Community.  The Beeson Center has partnered with Blessed Earth in providing biblically sound sustainability practices.  We feel making a garden available to families and students to practice this principle in a practical way is an important part of the Creation Care Community mission.

The garden is located on the North side of Kalas Village and is available to any person who is involved with the CCC and part of the Asbury community: student, staff and faculty.  Each person has the choice of having 1 or 2  4’X12’ plots.

If you are interested in participating with the CCC garden please contact Laura Horn at creationcare@asburyseminary.eduor 859.858.2072
