The Kentucky campus of Asbury Theological Seminary is celebrating its eighth decade of service to the community and the world as we seek to fulfill our original goal of preparing men and women for Christian service in ministry. The Kentucky campus is located in Wilmore, Ky., a historic community that provides an ideal environment for theological education, personal spiritual formation and the experience of living in community.

  • Now with three campuses, Asbury Theological Seminary was founded in Wilmore in 1923. * Wilmore's population of nearly 6,000 people includes more than 1,000 students at Asbury Theological Seminary and 1,300 students attending Asbury College.
  • The Wilmore campus is located 16 miles south of Lexington, Ky., an urban area with a population of nearly 300,000.   Louisville and Cincinnati are each 70 minutes from Lexington. Knoxville and Nashville are both within three and one-half hours.
  • Lexington's Bluegrass Airport is serviced by six major airlines providing 13 non-stop destinations and offering more than 85 flights daily.
  • Louisville International Airport is located only 71 miles from campus.
