As a people on mission, our preaching and worship experiences both teach and commission the saints to mature in Christ and to be witnesses.  Ministry Conference 2013 will call us to faithful worship of the God who comes. This is going to be a great event and we really look forward to offering you the best conference of the year! Be sure to bring your friends—we’ve got plenty of space and we want to fill it! Keynote speakers:

• Dr. Gennifer Brooks- Director of the Styberg Preaching Institute and the Styberg Associate Professor of Homiletics, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.
• Rev. James Howell- Pastor of Myers Park United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC and adjunct professor of preaching and ministry at Duke Divinity School.

Conference participants will gather together for the General Plenary Sessions. Participants will also select two workshops to attend during the conference for informal times of teaching and opportunities for Q&A.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

• Worship and Healing Service with Rev. James Howell, Rev. Sean Gladding, and Dr. Marilyn Elliott.
• Women in Ministry Luncheon: a private session, just for women, with Dr. Gennifer Brooks and Dr. Stacy Minger.
• Alumni Luncheon: an opportunity to catch up with former classmates in a private dining area.
