Welcome to the ministry of the Beeson International Center at Asbury Theological Seminary, Asbury Seminary’s bridge to the global church. We are uniquely positioned to support you as you explore the next step in your Christian call. The Beeson Center houses the Doctor of Ministry Program, the Center for Lifelong Learning, Asbury Cluster Education (ACE) and several other initiatives specifically designed to meet the needs of the local church and its leaders.

Asbury Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry degree is offered in three different tracks—In-Ministry, Beeson Pastor, and Beeson International Leader. The In-Ministry track is offered on both the Kentucky and Florida Dunnam Campuses. Students come to campus twice annually for one or two intensive courses. This track offers four different concentrations: Missional Leadership, Christian Formation, and Preaching & Worship on the Kentucky campus, as well as the Transformational Innovation concentration on the Florida Dunnam Campus. Our residential Beeson Pastor track is a three-year Doctor of Ministry plan that includes a year on the Kentucky campus in Wilmore, Kentucky. Also offered within the Beeson Pastor track is a non-residential program spanning a five year sequence of campus visits. The focus is on Christian leadership, biblical preaching, and personal spiritual formation. Beeson doctoral candidates are selected from the Doctor of Ministry applicant pool to receive a scholarship grant that covers the entire cost of the program. The Beeson International Leaders track offers the same Doctor of Ministry degree. It is structured with campus visits that take place over a four and a half year time frame. For each Beeson track, selected students receive full support for tuition, international travel and all program-related expenses.
