Transfers & Advanced Standing

 (Master of Divinity and Master of Arts degrees only)

Want to transfer hours from another seminary or university graduate degree program into a degree program at Asbury Seminary?

Think you could qualify for Advanced Standing based on your undergraduate coursework? Have you graduated within the last three years?

If so, then please send your request to the Office of the Registrar and note the following procedure:

• Make a formal request to registrar@asburyseminary.edu
• Potential Asbury Seminary: students should send a copy of transcripts and course syllabi to the address below.
• Current/Admitted Asbury Seminary: students transcripts are already on file and should send course syllabi to the address below.
• Time restrictions: course work must have been completed:
  • Master of Divinity: within the last 10 years
  • Master of Arts: within the last 7 years
