Considering your next step? Could doctoral studies be in your future? Interested in further education in a specialized area? If so, you have many options available through your alma mater.

Asbury Theological Seminary offers professional and academic postgraduate-level degrees for students who have completed graduate-level studies, as well as certificates designed to sharpen skills in specified fields of study.

For pastors planning on remaining in pastoral ministry who are interested in seeking doctoral credentials, professional degrees consist of four tracks within the Doctor of Ministry program.  This includes the options of the In-Ministry track or one of three tracks offered through the Beeson International Center for Biblical Preaching and Church Leadership: Beeson International Leader, Beeson Pastor Residential and Beeson Pastor Non-Residential.

For persons wanting to teach and prepare future ministers or theologians at an institution of higher learning, academic and research degrees are offered through the E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism (offering the Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies and the Th.M. in World Mission and Evangelism) and the School of Biblical Interpretation and Proclamation (offering both the Ph.D. and Th.M. in Biblical Studies).
