Gospel and Culture Discussion
Click here to enter the Gospel and Culture Discussion Group.
Welcome
Welcome to the Gospel and Culture discussion table. The discussion is open to all who are interested in reflecting upon how the gospel of Jesus Christ interacts with issues of culture. Too often, particular issues are not reflected upon and discussed. In order to receive the benefit of hearing the various perspectives of Christians from around the world, we want to make room at the table so that your voice can be heard. Pull up a chair and enter the discussion!
Purpose
The purpose of this discussion is to give you a voice. In order to adequately address cultural issues, it takes a community of believers to reflect on the issues involved and discuss them. We hope to make room at the table to hear your voice. We recognize the limitation of relying upon one perspective (often a Western one), and have seen the value of various cultural perspectives. While the Bible is adhered to as the ultimate interpreter of all culture, our understanding of the Scripture is enriched through various languages and cultures. Share your perspective with us - we want to hear your voice!
