Master of Arts (TS)
The Master of Arts (TS) allows options for concentrated study in church history, doctrine, ethics, philosophy, and systematic theology. This degree has a General Academic option (coursework only) and a Research option (with a modern research language and a thesis).
Admission Requirements

- Official transcripts from all postsecondary degree conferring schools sent to Admissions directly from the institution

- A personal friend or acquaintance
- 3.00/4.00 grade point average
Applicants whose cumulative grade point average falls below 3.0 may not be admitted into the MA(BS)/MA(TS) programs. However, applicants may begin in another Masters degree (such as the Master of Arts in Christian Ministries) degree and then transfer into the MA(BS)/MA(TS) program after completing 9 hours of course work in the initial program and earning at least a 3.0. - For applicants whose native language is other than English, 79 internet (550 paper) TOEFL score or 7.0 IELTS

- Theological Studies Core (5 hours)
- Philosophy of Christian Religion
- John Wesley's Theology for Today
- Theological Studies Electives (19 hours)
- Choose courses with any of these nomenclatures: CH, CS, DO, PH, or ST.
- General Electives (9 hours)
In addition to these classes, students are required to complete a Bible Competency Examination.
