Master of Arts (BS)
The Master of Arts (BS) provides preparation for people desiring to pursue further, postgraduate work in biblical studies; and serves as a terminal degree for ministries of teaching Scripture in congregations, parachurch organizations, and Christian institutes.
Admission Requirements

- 3.00/4.00 grade point average
Applicants whose cumulative grade point average falls below 3.0 may not be admitted into the MA(BS)/MA(TS) programs. However, applicants may begin in another Masters degree (such as the Master of Arts in Christian Ministries) degree and then transfer into the MA(BS)/MA(TS) program after completing 9 hours of course work in the initial program and earning at least a 3.0. - For applicants whose native language is other than English, 79 internet (550 paper) TOEFL score or 7.0 IELTS

- Biblical Specialization Requirements (24 hours)
- Comprehensive Greek 1 and 2
- Survey of Biblical Hebrew
- Grammar, Readings/Biblical Hebrew
- Inductive Biblical Studies 2
- New Testament OR Old Testament Theology
- Exegesis Electives (6 hours)
- Comprehensive Greek 1 and 2
- Biblical Studies Electives (6 hours)
- General Electives (6 hours)
In addition to these classes, students are required to complete a Bible Competency Examination.
