The Doctor of Philosophy (Evangelization Studies) program is designed to prepare effective professors of evangelism for seminaries and colleges who can interpret the field to students and advance the body of knowledge that informs Christian outreach.

- Accredited bachelor's degree with 3.5/4.0 minimum GPA
- Accredited master of divinity degree or masters degree (60 hours or two years) in a theological discipline with a 3.5/4.0 minimum GPA
- Official transcripts of all postsecondary schools attended sent to Admissions directly from the institution
- Personal history essay
- Reference forms
- Two professors or academic administrators
- Two colleagues well acquainted with applicant’s ministry experience and objectives
- GRE scores of 600 verbal and 5 analytical
- Paper summarizing evangelism beliefs, ministry experience and research interests
- Writing sample of academic work completed within past three years and reflecting a research interest appropriate to the degree program.
- Knowledge of a field language targeted for ministry or research
- For applicants who native language is other than English, 100 internet (600 paper) TOEFL score or 7.5 IELTS
- An interview may be required.
