Dr. Kiesling joined the Asbury Seminary faculty at the beginning of the 1998-99 school year after serving as associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Lubbock, Texas. Prior to his ministry there, he was director of the Henderson State/Ouachita Baptist University Wesley Foundation in Arkadelphia, Ark. He also served as pastor at Manchester United Methodist Church in Manchester, Ark. Dr. Kiesling has been a teaching assistant at Texas Tech University and Asbury Seminary, and an adjunct professor at Henderson State University. Dr. Kiesling's interests have focused on identity formation, developmental issues encountered in young and middle adulthood, faith formation in the family, sexuality and gender roles and relational dynamics concerning marriage. Dr. Kiesling and his wife, Suzanne, have two children, Daniel Christopher and Samuel Mabry.
